Brunch is never a bad idea, whether you’re looking for a bottomless mimosa or just a boujee eggs Benedict. And, luckily for us in northeast Ohio, Cleveland has no shortage of great brunch spots to choose from!
There are constantly new spots popping up, hence this list is always growing. But, for now, here are all my favorite brunch spots in Cleveland.
The ultimate Cleveland brunch guide
Here are all the best Cleveland brunch options (according to me!), in no specific order because how could I possibly choose favorites? I’ve roughly divided this list into two halves: first, spots that offer a brunch menu every day, followed by restaurants that only do brunch on weekends.

My favorite Cleveland brunch spots
Before we dive in to the full list, here are some of my favorite local brunch dishes and where I order them!
- West Side Market Cafe, Ohio City – I like the chorizo wrap!
- Martha on the Fly, Tremont – Betty egg sandwich with a side of Karleen’s cornmeal fries, always.
- Lucky’s, Tremont – Biscuits and gravy with a Lucky’s Latte (a delicious honey latte).
- The Rowley Inn, Tremont – I like their breakfast poutine, but honestly everything here is so good!
- The South Side, Tremont – Their menu changes a lot, but I’ve never been disappointed by their breakfast pierogi hot pockets.
- Good Company, Edgewater Hill – The Wake Up Wings are so tasty.
- Luxe Kitchen & Lounge, Gordon Square – You can’t go wrong with their pillowy beinets with various dipping sauces.
- Little Birdie Wine Nest, Parma – Their brunch boards are always fun, and they rotate flavors seasonally in both their mimosa flights and cold brew coffee flights.
Weekday options for brunch in Cleveland
Hoping to book in for a brunch with a friend on a weekday? There are actually a lot of weekday brunch options in Cleveland. Here are my top picks, organized by proximity to downtown.
1. Cocky’s Bagels
1127 Old River Road, Cleveland (Flats East Bank)

Looking for an all-day brunch spot to enjoy breakfast sandwiches and brunch cocktails? Then look no further than Cocky’s Bagels. Cocky’s actually has two locations, the original in North Olmstead (26703 Brookpark Ext), and their newest spot in The Flats (1127 Old River Road).
Their Flats location especially gives excellent brunch vibes, with a light and airy indoor seating area, a patio outside, and two separate bars (including one with swing seats).
Definitely try the Big Daddy bagel sandwich, and one of my favorites is the Frenchie, which has maple syrup on it for the perfect sweet and salty mixture. The Flats location also has a full cocktail menu with several mimosa and bloody Mary options, as well as boozy coffee drinks. Find the Cocky’s brunch menu here.
Cocky’s North Olmstead is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-3 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and the Flats location is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.- 3 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
2. 27 Club Coffee
1215 W 10th St, Cleveland (The Flats)

With coffee in its name, 27 Club Coffee is definitely the place to grab a cup of joe. Machine Gun Kelly’s vibe-y coffee shop serves up breakfast all day, so you can get your brunch sandwiches or pancakes well past noon.
Be sure to check out their pink latte with pink milk, as well as their all-day cinnamon rolls if you’re feeling something sweet! For something savory, they offer cheesy shrimp and grits that’s good. Find the full 27 Club menu here.
They serve up breakfast all day everyday. And while I’ve been to this spot a couple of times for food, I personally feel like it’s best for coffee and cocktails.

3. West Side Market Cafe
1979 W 25th St, Cleveland (Ohio City)

This small spot tucked away next to the West Side Market is full of egg-cellent breakfast foods, with most of their ingredients sourced right from local vendors inside West Side Market.
Breakfast is served all day at the West Side Market Cafe, so try a fried egg sandwich with spicy bacon, brunch wrap, huevos rancheros, hot mess (home fries with eggs, bacon, and sausage gravy), or a West Side Market omelet loaded with mushrooms, bacon, scallion, spinach, and feta. (And on weekends, you can also order eggs Benedict and kielbasa hash. ) Find the full West Side Market menu here.
And while the West Side Market Cafe feels like a diner inside, you can get anything from coffee cocktails to beer on tap, too.
They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 7 a.m.-1 p.m.; Saturday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
4. Le Petit Triangle Cafe
1881 Fulton Rd, Cleveland (Ohio City)

Want to pretend that you’re sitting at a quaint little bistro in Paris? Look no further than Le Petit Triangle Cafe.
This place serves up brunch every day they’re open, which is Wednesday-Sunday. But instead of your standard brunch classics, opt for things like quiche, shakshuka, sweet or savory crepes, French toast, and a few croque monsieur options! They also have plenty of cheese and escargot on the menu (see the full Le Petit Triangle brunch menu here).
Don’t forget to grab a croissant or pain au chocolat and one of their various coffee drinks, too! And if you’re feeling boozy, they offer their mimosas and bellinis every morning – not just on the weekends.
5. Juneberry Table
3900 Lorain Ave, Cleveland (Ohio City)

This cozy spot by Karen Small has become one of my go-to spots in Ohio City. Juneberry Table‘s vibe is “come for breakfast, stay for lunch,” and their menu is definitely brunch-forward!
With starter staples like cheddar and chive biscuits and cinnamon streusel coffee cake, you really can’t go wrong. The main menu options change with the seasons, but you can always expect to find a nice mix of sweet and savory options, with everything from egg dishes to pancakes to diner burgers being available. (See the Juneberry Table menu here.)
Juneberry Table also has wine, beer, and brunch-y cocktails available. They are open 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday-Monday and Wednesday-Thursday, and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday-Saturday (closed Tuesday).
6. Martha on the Fly
2173 Professor Ave, Cleveland (Tremont)

This “micro diner” moved into a permanent spot in Tremont in 2022 after operating as just a pop-up, and has been expanding their offerings of delicious brunch sandwiches ever since.
You can never go wrong with Betty egg sandwich with a side of Karleen’s cornmeal fries, or a cinnamon roll with orange and vanilla bean icing paired with Guardian cold brew. They also have pocket pies (the fillings rotate), hoagies, potato crispies, and build-your-own sandwich options. See the full Martha on the Fly menu here.
Martha on the Fly is open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Monday-Friday, and from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Note that they don’t have a ton of space inside, so ordering online and getting your food to-go is always recommended.
7. Lucky’s Cafe
777 Starkweather Ave, Cleveland (Tremont)

This breakfast spot serves up a killer brunch every day of the week, perfect for those who wake up with a brunch craving on a weekday.
One thing to definitely try at Lucky’s is the biscuits and gravy – it is SO GOOD! We also love the Shipwreck: hash browns, eggs, veggies, bacon, and cheddar cheese. For a vegan version, opt for the Canoewreck, full of hash browns, curried tofu, veggies, and nutritional yeast.
Honestly, their whole breakfast menu is delightful, so I highly recommend trying it all! They also have amazing pastries and an extensive coffee and tea menu – including some of the biggest lattes you’ve ever seen. (And note that their weekend brunch menu is larger – find Lucky’s weekday menu here, and weekend menu here.)
They are open every day for breakfast and brunch from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., and a waiting list even on a weekday is not uncommon here, as they don’t take reservations.
8. Grumpy’s Cafe
2621 W 14th St, Cleveland (Tremont)
Open every day for breakfast and brunch, Grumpy’s is the place for all the breakfast classics.
Known for its feel-good food, you can enjoy things like the Grumpy’s special (two eggs, choice of meat, cajun home fries, and toast), breakfast tacos, or a Sausage Gravy Benedict. They also serve up various omelets, waffles, French toasts, and pancakes. And you have to love the unlimited coffee refills in their eclectic mugs. See the full Grumpy’s menu here.
It’s hard to stay “grumpy” during brunch here – just be sure to get here early, as they’re only open 7 a.m.-2 p.m. (7 days a week).
9. The Rowley Inn
1104 Rowley Ave, Cleveland (Tremont)
This unassuming spot near the Christmas Story House may be easily overlooked, but don’t make this mistake.
The Rowley Inn is a Cleveland institution, and it’s constantly winning awards for its food. Enjoy fun brunch items like the Rowley breakfast, which comes with 3 eggs, kielbasa, and bacon-wrapped tater tots, or a breakfast poutine.
Or, for our pierogi lovers in Cleveland, there is pierogi poutine, or the Rogi Omelette, which includes kielbasa, cheddar, sautéed onions, and two pierogi, with side of home fries and kraut.
Honestly, if you leave this place hungry that’s on you. The food here is filling and always delicious! (See the Rowley Inn brunch menu here.)
The Rowley Inn offers a brunch menu Monday-Friday from 7-11 a.m., and from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. on weekends.
10. Luna Bakery & Cafe
Multiple locations

For breakfast everyday, you can head to Luna Bakery & Cafe, which now has three locations across Cleveland: downtown (1468 West 9th Street), Cleveland Heights (2482 Fairmount Blvd), and Moreland Hills (34105 Chagrin Blvd).
This place has incredible pastries including flaky croissants, delectable cookies, and tempting breads, and also offers tasty brunch items like a breakfast burrito, avocado toast, and sweet and savory crepes.
Their Cleveland Heights location is my favorite, as it’s open every day of the week! Check out Luna Bakery’s menu here.
11. Cleveland Vegan
17112 Detroit Ave, Lakewood
If you want to eat vegan and enjoy a lot of brunch options, Cleveland Vegan is the place!
And everything here is vegan, of course! One of the best vegan restaurants in Cleveland, this place has great veggie brunch items like a vegan biscuits and gravy, and their caramelized banana pancakes. (See the full Cleveland Vegan menu here.)
Open everyday except on Monday, Cleveland Vegan serves up brunch from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. all week long!
12. Little Birdie Wine Nest
6060 Broadview Rd, Parma

Tucked into an unassuming strip mall in Parma, Little Birdie Wine Nest is very much worth a visit, either on a weekday or weekend! Along with being a wine shop, coffee shop, and gift shop, Little Birdie also serves Instagrammable brunch boards, mimosa flights, and cold brew coffee flights.
This is one of my favorite spots to meet up with friends!
Little Birdie serves brunch-y food and coffee Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m., and hosts all sorts of fun events and crafty workshops throughout the week.
BONUS: The Judith
5222 Lorain Ave, Cleveland

I’m adding The Judith in as a bonus, because while it doesn’t really offer a traditional *brunch* menu daily, it’s still a great option any morning of the week.
This French-inspired cafe serves up delicious coffee alongside fresh pastries and beautiful tartines in the morning, followed by fresh sandwiches and salads at lunchtime.
It’s such a beautiful and welcoming space, too!
The Judith is open Wednesday-Sunday starting at 8 a.m.

1. The Centro
2017 E 9th St, Cleveland (Downtown)
The Centro restaurant inside the Metropolitan at the 9 hotel downtown is a great option for brunch. Start out with the Brunch Charcuterie Board if you’re dining with a group, or try the Short Rib Benny for something more decadent.

2058 E 4th St, Cleveland (Downtown)

An exciting concept restaurant on East 4th St downtown, Cordelia describes itself as “modern grandma” in both menu and design. Jaja is a new hip steakhouse in Ohio City that also offers up a memorable brunch in possibly one of the prettiest spaces in the city.
Try a shakshuka or cauliflower on toast if you’re feeling healthy, or maybe a croque madame or dulce de leche French toast if not. If you’re dining out with a group of friends, you can also try the Avocado 39,916,800 Ways, which is DIY avo toast board that feeds 4-6.

6. Heck’s Cafe
2927 Bridge Ave, Cleveland (Ohio City)

This charming restaurant in Ohio City serves up a great brunch whether you want one of their famous burgers or you’re craving something sweet like their baklava French toast (though their menu definitely leans more towards the savory brunch dishes!).
Start your meal at Heck’s Cafe with some AM fries (buffalo fries with eggs and blue cheese fondue) before enjoying your main dish. Then, top it all off with a Salted Caramel Pretzel Bread Pudding or a bloody Mary. (See the full Heck’s brunch menu here.)

Check out their Saturday brunch menu here, and Sunday brunch menu here. (Though note that they do change up their menus here frequently!)
If you’re feeling thirsty, definitely grab a bloody Mary, as they have a huge menu of them! Try The Mother Mary if you’re up for a challenge. Or, if bloody Marys aren’t your thing, their mimosas are astoundingly cheap at just $4.50!

This light and airy spot is known for being a steakhouse with tasty shareable plates, but they also offer an excellent brunch on weekends!

Aside from their Benedicts, they also have several omelets and scrambles, pancakes, and a lot of their own specialities like the huevos verdes with a flour tortilla with spicy verde, or a sweet banana-walnut French toast.

That wraps up my favorite places for brunch in Cleveland! Did your favorite make the list?

Amanda was born and raised in northeast Ohio, and has always been a fangirl of her home state. Now, she’s sharing her love of the Cleveland area, highlighting all the best things to do, see, and eat in the CLE. She’s been running Cleveland Traveler since January 2019.

Love the site. Restaurants are located toward the west side. Would love to have the Weekend brunch buffets separated from Non-buffets. With a larger family group, which includes children and teens, it is helpful to have a buffet as they each can have as much of and whatever they want.
Thanks for the feedback, Nancy! And yes, there are just more restaurants on the west side than the east side, especially when it comes to brunch spots. There are not that many places that do brunch buffets these days; in fact the Aviator and Pier W are the only two good brunch buffets I can think of that are close to Cleveland.
