June has arrived in Cleveland, which officially means the start of summer! Warm weather and sunny days make Cleveland a great place to be, and both visitors and locals alike love this time of year.

This month, there are tons of outdoor events and festivals going on in Cleveland. It’s also the perfect time of year to head to the beach or an outdoor patio to relax outdoors.

Pride Month occurs during the month of June and celebrates the LGBTQ community across the country. On June 6, the Pride in the CLE event will kick off Pride Month in Cleveland.

The Pride March will begin at Public Square and continue to Malls B & C. Step-off is at 11 a.m. After the parade and march, there will be entertainment and vendors from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

3. Cleveland Metroparks Summer Concert Series

When: Wednesday-Saturday starting June 11

The Cleveland Metroparks Summer Concert Series is a free summer-long event that occurs every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening throughout the metroparks system. It’s a great way to enjoy some live music outdoors, AND a good excuse to visit some new parks.

Concerts take place at various locations around Cleveland each week, including Edgewater Beach, Euclid Beach, Huntington Beach, Merwin’s Wharf, and more. Local food trucks and other concessions are available at the concerts.

4. Parade the Circle

When: Saturday, June 13, 2026

Where: Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Blvd, Cleveland

Parade the Circle is a fun family-friendly event in Cleveland that occurs in June at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

The annual art parade is free for all to attend, and it features innovative costumes, giant puppets, and handmade masks created by artists, families, schools, and community groups.

This year’s parade theme is “Momentum” is inspired by the special exhibition “American Printed Silks, 1927–1947,” by artist Héctor Castellanos Lara. Anyone can sign up to participate!

5. Larchmere PorchFest

When: Saturday, June 13, 2026

Where: E 127th St & Larchmere Blvd, Cleveland

Larchmere PorchFest is a great free event in Cleveland featuring musicians from a wide variety of genres and family-friendly activities. And it’s super unique!

The residents of the Larchmere neighborhood open up their front lawns to host concerts throughout the day, and there are also local food vendors and activities for kids.

This is such a fun community event!

Juneteenth is a holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States on June 19, 1865.

Cleveland’s Freedom Fest is not happening in 2026, but plans to return for 2027.

7. Cleveland Burger Week

When: June 22-28, 2026

Burger lovers will be delighted to know that Cleveland Burger Week is returning this June. For one whole week, you can get $10 burgers at more than 35 restaurants around Cleveland.

This is a great way to try some new burger spots around the city and support local eateries.

8. Tri-C Jazz Fest

When: Thursday-Saturday, June 25-27, 2026

For jazz lovers, the Tri-C Jazz Fest is a must-do music festival in Cleveland. Featuring jazz performers from around the world, this festival hosts multiple concerts in Playhouse Square over the course of a weekend.

9. Ohio Scottish Games & Celtic Festival

When: June 26-27, 2026

Where: Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, 19201 E. Bagley Road, Berea

Put on yearly by the Scottish American Cultural Society of Ohio, the Ohio Scottish Games & Celtic Festival is a fun way to experience Scottish heritage right here in northeast Ohio. The event features traditional dance, music, and highland games over the course of the weekend.

Watch pipe and drum competitions, sheep herding demonstrations, highland dancing, whisky tasting, and much more.

10. Rediscover Veterans Memorial Bridge

When: June 27, 2026

Once per year, the lower level of the Veterans Memorial Bridge (also known as the Detroit-Superior Bridge) is open for the public to explore. This level of the bridge used to be where streetcars ran in Cleveland.

During this one-day event, the bridge turns into an art gallery and performance venue, so along with exploring the length of the bridge, you can see art installations, listen to live music, and more.

This event is free, but you do need to sign a waiver to participate. The entrance to the bridge is at 1007 W Superior Ave.
