20+ Cleveland Black Friday & Holiday Deals to Check Out (2024)

Many of us associate the Black Friday through Cyber Monday shopping weekend with buying things from big retailers for the holidays. But did you know that you can take advantage of these weekend deals AND support local businesses right here in Cleveland?

I thought I’d share some of the best Black Friday/Small Business Saturday/Cyber Monday deals and special events around Cleveland in this post. From annual memberships to discounted gift cards to special shopping events, there are definitely some gems to know about!

Discounted Season Passes/Memberships

Looking to gift a membership to someone this holiday season? Well, now is the time to buy! Some current discounts include:

• Greater Cleveland Aquarium – The aquarium is running a sale to get 20% off Annual Passes. Save using code CLEAQUARIUM20 Black Friday (Nov. 29) through Cyber Monday (Dec 2). And then you can actually still save 10% through the rest of December with the code CLEAQUARIUM10.
• Cafilia – Cafilia is a local coffee shop subscription where you get a reusable travel mug and a certain number of cups of coffee per month from all the participating coffee shops. They’re running a 60% off sale on all subscriptions this weekend! Use code “BlackFriday2024” to save on your first month (good through Cyber Monday).

Discounted Tickets

• Playhouse Square HoliDeals – From December 2-6 (so actually starting on Cyber Monday), Playhouse Square will be offering deals and advance tickets for shows, concerts and special events. A new event drops each day at 10 a.m. on the HoliDeals site.
• Cavs Cyber Weekend – Through December 2, save 20-25% off Cavs game tickets through the next couple of months! Check out the deals here.
• Cleveland Orchestra – From November 27-30 this year, save 30% when booking select concert tickets using the code FRIDAY30.
• SeatStir – SeatStir is a ticket membership service that local performance venues use to fill unsold seats for music concerts, comedy shows, theater productions, and more. Memberships start at just $15 per month – and you can save 10% on your subscription by using my link.

• Cleveland Clothing Company – Save 20% off local gear both in-store and online at Cleveland Clothing Co using promo code BF2024. They also offered an early Black Friday sale Nov. 14-17 this year.
• GV Artwork – Another excellent local t-shirt company, GV is also running a Black Friday sale (and dropping lots of new designs this weekend). Save 10% off the entire store with code BLACKGV10. You can also save 15% off online orders over $150 with code BLACKGV15, and 20% off online orders over $200 with code BLACKGV20. (And they’re offering even bigger discounts if you shop in-store!)
• Cleveland sports gear – The NFL, MLB, and NBA are all running Black Friday deals on Browns, Guardians, and Cavs gear for the whole family.
• Cleveland Metroparks gear – You can get select Cleveland Metroparks t-shirts online and in-store through Cyber Monday (Nov. 26-Dec 2) for just $15.

• Fount Leather – This Cleveland-based leather company is running a 20% off sale on everything for Black Friday! You won’t find better deals than this on Fount products.
• Shore Society – This local Cleveland boutique is having a Small Business Saturday bash on November 30, where you can get discounts online and in-person at Shore Society, plus a free gift with any $100 purchase.
• Anne Cate – Show off your Cleveland pride with city-themed clutches and wallets, all hand-crafted right here in the CLE! Save 15% sitewide using code THEBESTGIFT.
• Old Brooklyn Cheese – On Small Business Saturday (Nov. 30) ONLY, all retail at Old Brooklyn Cheese will be 15% off. Great time to stop in for a cheese board or gift card!

Discounted Gift Cards to Area Businesses

• Marble Room – Cleveland’s top special occasion restaurant is offering a holiday gift card deal. Buy a $100 gift card from Nov. 29-Dec. 2, and get a free $20 gift card.
• Barrio – Have a taco lover in your life? Then you’ll want to know that through December you can buy a $50 Barrio gift card and get a $10 voucher for yourself.
• Georgetown & Vosh – This Lakewood staple is offering a gift card deal on Black Friday (11/29) and Small Business Saturday (11/30) only. Get a $25 gift card when you buy a $50 one! Available in-restaurant only, from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. each day.
• Rocky River Wine Bar / Market Beer – These Rocky River favorites are offering an incredible gift card deal Black Friday (11/29) and Small Business Saturday (11/30) only: Get a free $50 gift card when you purchase a $100 gift card, or a $25 gift card when you purchase a $50 one! Available for in-person purchases only from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. More info here.
• RollHouse – This family-friendly entertainment venue chain has local locations in Mentor, Solon, and North Olmstead, and will be offering $100 gift cards for sale for just $50 on Cyber Monday.

Fun local experiences

Small Biz Saturday Market Pop-Ups

Want to shop small and local on Black Friday or Small Business Saturday? Here are a few holiday markets and unique shopping options happening:

• Cleveland Bazaar – Find this festive holiday pop-up inside the 5th Street Arcades on November 30 during downtown’s WinterLand kickoff event. Shop from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Holiday At The Hildebrandt – The Hildebrandt will host its annual holiday market/open house on November 30 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The event will be full of art including ceramics, woodworking, pottery, and paintings, as well as many food and drink vendors.
• City Goods – This one-stop shop for handmade goods in Ohio City is hosting a Small Business Saturday event lasting the whole weekend, from Nov. 29-Dec. 1. Shop from 40+ small local businesses, most of which are running deals and promos or dropping exclusive new products.
